Shortly after completing an online purchase I received a voicemail message saying it was from Central Scotland Fraud Prevention and wanted me to ring them back regarding suspicious activity on my bank account. On calling the number on back of my card for 24 hour banking I was told that no suspicious activity had been noted and that call received was fraudulent.

Got a call from this number, can’t find any search about this number. Too noisy! First said it was from Sky, (knew my name and address), said my contract ended now in begin of April, I corrected saying it was only next month. This is Maidstone Police Station. Ignore people who say it s not. I went into the police station to report a motorist for smashing into my car and leaving the scene, spent an hour with a detective and that same detective called me using this number a few minutes ago. This is DEFINITELY Kent Police.
