Called me several times with some random sales offers, asking for the removal from their list didn t work so i blocked them. Today I had a voice mail and someone was clearly unhappy with it as the only thing they said before hanging up very quickly was "oh s*it" I am satisfied that for once they got annoyed with me;)

It is obvious that the firm making these calls is also manipulating this forum. Both are equally shite. In my case they have a pretend-itslocal pseudo number. Jail for you soon. Not soon enough.

Like all the other comments, this was a recorded message claiming to be from Inland Revenue (I should have smelled a rat immediately at that point - it s HMRC now...) and that I was being sued. Brain not in gear, and in panic, dialled 1, but silence at the other end, then call terminated. I am now so angry. I only entered the competition for the iPad because it came up on accuweather which I ve been using for a while and is a bona fide site. I then got a message saying I was now entered in a weekly draw for ?4.50 per week. I then received 3 messages which I was charged ?3.83 for. I ve sent a stop message to 88222 as advised but this is a complete con.

Been called alt least twice a day by this number...it s a debt/loan agency...I personally have never had any dealings with this, or any other agency, so have fostered my mobile with the TPS and added the number to my spam application on the phone. If they keep persisting with unwanted calls, I m going to report them...don t know where they got my mobile number from.145a3

Have had 3 calls from this number each time when I answered call terminates. ? Is this an auto dialer.

My Mum has been getting calls from this number, same as others report, just silent calls. My Mum s number has been registered with TPS for a number of years now, so this should not really be happening. As such, must be treated as highly suspicious.

Dodgy Indian voice from some dodgy finance company telling me I would be getting a letter about PPI

Missed the call, they left no voicemail so tried returning call which went straight to an answering service.

This company phoned my mobile asking for my 16 year old son. Which in reality is inappropriate and ridiculous considering they were talking money rights.

Call supposed to have come from Microsoft Windows. Caller was asking about error reports we had sent - we hadn t. My partner took the call and, being savvy, did not give away any information. The caller ended the call himself with a thank you, goodbye.
