Received a call today 21.6.22 at 13:15. Recorded message purporting to be Visa regarding to possible acts of fraud against my debit card. 1 x £1000 and 1 x £300. Immediately suspected a scam, pressed to speak to an adviser and decided once more to play along. Male with foreign accent, as usual acting as if I had called in. Sales call From the one time I’ve answered. Seems to be from a company called Motoreasy selling used car warranties. Very direct over the phone trying to get you to sign up immediately. All I did was fill out a comparison form on their website, researching different cover plans, lengths and prices. Now can’t get rid of them!

Call was a recorded message saying that I had 2 transactions off £750 off my Credit card this morning if this was not you press 1. I didn't do it but I did check with my accounts and it appears to be a scam. As they didnt say which Credit company either. Plus surely they wouldn't use a mobile phone either. They would use land line to ring from. Plus an email or text.

They invoice and use factoring companies. We were stung for around £250 previously. Not heard from them in a couple of years so they've obviously started up again. Just hang up.
