Suspected Scam I recieved a message from this number shortly after a private number phone call stating i had hit their car and left a message with my phone number (i havent hit any cars nor left my number) I then received text message asking why i hit their Car followed by another asking for my insurance details.

'Matthew' (a mere recorded voice) called just now on this number, wanting to tell me something urgent & government related about the lagging installed in my loft. Yeah, right, it's a scam. I hung up.
Automat A digital voice telling me that my name is on the HMRC Fraud list and that I must press 1 to speak to an officer who is dealing with my case and that if I don't press 1, I will arrested shortly. Needless to say, I put the phone down.

Phoned to speak to my wife. Said there was a proublem with the account. Told him what a load of crap. Then phoned me back again to saythat her account is now blocked. Phoned k&co and there is nothing wrong. And they dont know who it was. Told the little t**t to f**k off. Be carfull about anawering security questions as they will use your account.

He offered to renew my van insurance, at a lower cost. My van insurance was not due for renewal yet he had a lot of details about me. However the van he had me as owning was from over 5 years ago, so I guess this is some old hacked database and then a scam to get your money. Pre recorded Scam call relating to unexpected withdrawals from a bank account. No name or bank mentioned. Asked for me to press 1 to confirm. That's a giveaway (red flag) as is the lack of personal details. I put the phone down immediately.
