Dangerous scam call pretending to be from HMRC. Threatening immediate arrest for non-existent unpaid taxes unless you give them an immediate payment. Just end the call, don t press any keys and if they leave a voicemail don t call it back. There will be no legal consequences, they re just trying to scare you.

Not a good line but sounded like call centre

I contacted this number after several missed calls, the company is called Freshstart, from what they said they get your info via loan applications etc, They seem to either provide or find you Debt Management company/PPI insurance recovery and probably other things. I just said I didnt need it and to take me of the call list.

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Mine was a survey which popped up whilst online and I had to wait 20secs inorder to dismiss that advert. Enduring the agonising 20 secs. Totally cold call, a women was asking all sorts of questions about my pension arrangements. I have no idea why they contacted me apart from fishing for details.

when asked caller how he got my number he said is was from a database supplied by the government !!!, fat chance, told him I did not take cold calls, does he think I was born yesterday

A "UK Consumers Survey" call, they have my name, and he just carried on (as if really hates his own job) try to verify my personal information which I ve then stopped him and he simply hanged up. keeps calling don t know why. I never answer unknown numbers and check them online, don;t know who they are or what they want but after reading other comments have blocked them.
