this is dangerous and fake people try to make you upset pls don't bother to pick it up it is a recorded message form HMR customs the number is 0161 5166537

This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. As people do search for this number, it should be used, so be aware. Probably some telemarjeting call centre, I have seen more similar numbers.

Had a call from a Castlegate finance from London talking about frozen pensions. Told them I wasn't interested and not to ring me again. Caller gave a sarcastic reply so I hung up. Blocked number then had a further call from the same company this time from Leeds. I asked them again not to ring me and blocked that number. Had another call from the same company this time on a number from Bristol Told the caller they were harassing me and I was going to ring the police if I received further calls. Blocked that

Annoying- have called me a couple of times even though i hung up when I realised it was rubbish the first time. No idea if they actually have teaching work in china but seems a bit dodgey.

SCAM; recorded message claiming to be from BT Internet department (they're not our ISP), saying they'd tried to contact (they hadn't) and they were going to disconnect us. Put the phone down but no doubt they would have tried to get money or details from us.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre, or scam. For sure some general call centre. In most cases they just provide silent calls to let you call them back. DON'T DO it, it will cost you a fortune. Did someone answer any number of this range or this particular one? I use the app from these pages to block whole ranges of similar numbers, works fine...

01494511879 showed on my caller display when someone purporting to be from talk talk called to ask me to log into the PC as my IP address had been hacked and he could fix it live. When I asked for a number to call back I was given 02032875576.

Phone lookup told me I was called by "Barry Hanlon" @harrybanlon1888. Left me an annoying insurance scam message. Scum.

Strongly accented man, saying something about a computer virus, when I said I couldn't understand him he got quite rude saying 'who are you?' over and over again. I hung up! Lots of noise in the background, obviously a call centre.
