The number is from SCAMMERS. When you pick up the phone when they call, you get immediately the waiting music. This is typical scam behavior. If you call back, you probably get into an expensive hotline.
Computer (sounded very realistic) saying it had heard I was involved in an accident. Hung up when I said I was not.

SCAM - I believe this to be a scam call as an automated message stated that I was in the wrong for tax evasion and that police were on the way to my home, even though everything of mine comes out via directly from my account and has done for years.

This number called me today and I let it go to voicemail. Automated VM saying I needed to press 1 otherwise a warrant would be issued for my arrest as something to do with HMRC.
On answering refused to provide company name and address, was also decline employees name. Then the phone was put down by the firm that called on me. I only sourced this number due to some detective work. Avoid this company. Disrepectful scum

SCAM Called claims to be from BT and ask you to download Quick Support to test your connection. Once they get the 9 digit ID they can then see your screen They ask you to log into websites, copy the url to 'test' the connection. Luckily my pw auto logs in, so I didn't type it. Be wary as on the BT website it does say they wouldn't ask you to screen share

SPAM. The caller asked how I was enjoying my boiler and central heating. I didn’t give her any chance to enter into a sales patter but just told her that I already had a local plumber and that any thoughts of selling me of her wares was destined for failure. Surprisingly the young Scottish lady crumbled and accepted her lot!

This call came into me whilst I was in the shower. The female operator started talking immediately, I had to really raise my voice to interrupt her call whereby I explained that I could not he at her as I did not have my hearing aids in, but was in the process of trying to put them in. My expectation was that she would hold on whilst I did that. Instead with no hearable comment the phone went dead. I felt she was extremely rude, I’m disabled, had got out of the shower to answer her call & Im deaf.
