They say they are from BT and want to fix a fault by getting you to log onto your computer. Clearly a scam.

He offered to renew my van insurance, at a lower cost. My van insurance was not due for renewal yet he had a lot of details about me. However the van he had me as owning was from over 5 years ago, so I guess this is some old hacked database and then a scam to get your money. This guy said he was from vancompare who I have actually used before. Quite confusing but almost certainly a scam. The guy was South African

I was called at 9.58 this morning by "Angelina" from 001059462210 with the usual story that my computer was being accessed by people who shouldn't be accessing it...

Answerd phone and met with silence, then after about 10 seconds or so call was disconnected.

SUPER RUDE human being - and I use the term loosely. Has been rude, aggressive, and generally made a twit of himself to most of my colleagues. Apparently he is calling back tomorrow "before time runs out" on whatever it is he won t tell me about.
