"Guardian direct" claims company marketeer. Nuisance repeat caller.
A voice from this number told me that my national insurance nunber had been cancelled and that i had been involved in illegal activity - i havent! Therefore when it also told me i was going to be arrested unless i pressed number 1 i knew it was a scam!

Claiming they are three and when you don t answer you are bombarded with a answer phone message saying to ring this number up this is being done 3 times in a day I ve blocked similar starting numbers before and yet they still find ways to call you makes you wonder if you can trust anybody other than friends and family with your number these days.
The guy has a strange accent and said at first he was calling about HMRC and then said he was calling about my bank security! Hope they catch these mugs and birdy them off soon....

Received a text claiming to be from online retailer VERY regarding new stock of Xbox Series X for pre-order asking me to reply YES before 2200GMT 10/11/2020 if i'm interested in re-ordering from them. Contacted VERY customer services and queried the number to which they stated that it is legitimate and if replied YES to, I will receive a phone call to organise re-ordering or the console. Unsure how legitimate this is though.

An automated message - has called me numerous times over the past week. I ve tried pressing 9 to opt out. Makes no difference at all, so this time spoke to someone by pressing 5 . Apparently they will remove my number -takes up to 48 hours. Definately the most persist nuisance call I ve ever had.
Total silence, caller terminated after two seconds. DO NOT return the call. Just as with e-mails, such action confirms to the originator that the number has a human on the end and then, the response is saved for use by the cold caller company that uses it. I just told him that I am not with BT (true) and can t understand why BT didn t know that, and I hung up.
