Got 5 miss calls and answered 6th on landline my wife spoke to them after she said no thank you, it was about PPI, they wanted to speak to me and they are stupid morons that doesn’t listen to not interested. Blocked that’s about 10 numbers blocked in 3 days.

Sent text and called to say I had monies waiting from an insurance claim and required bank details to process the payment. Consider as scammers!!

Does relate to an account setup. It s a company relates to crypto and it s a courtesy call. Caller is actually in Cyprus not London Dodgy number but thanks BT for allowing such things legal but misleading. Call genuine.

I rang them back and ascertained from them that they had bought a quantity of telephone numbers from various sources and their computer was ringing them trying to get a positive response to their FREE BOILER initiatave. Claims to be from HSBC reporting a new sign in from an unknown device. I don t have an HSBC account.

I had a guarded conversation with the caller who, as mentioned above, was calling on behalf of the RSPCA. Apparently he wanted to confirm details for Gift Aid purposes, which raised suspicion in my mind as there are always boxes to tick when completing donation forms for any charity. He did have my name and postcode already and was very polite, but clearly working from a script. I have not ever donated by text.

Overseas call posing as a local number: scam call about building insulation.

IT Support company, based in Maidstone in Kent.

Said they were calling from "energy research Scotland" and would organise for Penicuik to come and quote for windows which they would be paying 70% of - can t find this organisation online anywhere so guess it s just a misleading sales tactic for above!
