Said it was calling about a banking transaction. I believe it to be a scam call.

Caller pretends to be from BT alledging illegal access to your broadband. Asks you to download a website Anydesk.com. This shows you suppossedly all the users who are accessing you broadband. Then they ask you to check your bank account and lo and behold someone has taken money from your account. In the next few minutes they show you that you have been credited with a large amount of money. This is to say thank you for helping them track scammers. DANGEROUS SCAM. The Phone rang and caller (a computer) hung up when I didn't speak! This was a computer generated call trying to sniff out voice lines. If you answered "hello" or anything else then the line will be detected as 'a voice line' and you'll likely be called back later by some con-artist! They may also be quick to say they are not selling, simply enquiring, surveying, etc. THESE CALLS ARE SCAMS & HARASSING.

I terminated the call, then tried calling the number. An answering machine announced that the number wasn't accepting calls. Obvious scam. I've blocked the number.
