It's a fraud scam. They've somehow got a list of people who have purchased white goods and they're calling them to tell them the warranty has expired. I told him to fuck off and put the phone down as they were clearly trying to get me to pay for a new insurance policy when I blatantly didn't. Telemarketing for PPI claims. Nuisance calls as they keep calling once or twice a day, sometimes hang up without speaking. When they do speak they try to give the impression that they already have details of what you can claim for while asking intrusive questions. They have twice told me that I will be removed from their call list.

Old scam. Claim to be from BT Openreach saying there is a problem with broadband causing damage to devices but they can fix it for you. Just a scam to get info, passwords or even put spyware onto your device. Just hang up on them and warn others that this scam is going around again.
