Called today 31 August 22 with an automated message pretending to be from my bank. Saying there were suspicious transactions on my credit card. Press 2 to speak to security. "Security" guy was abrupt and rude demanding personal details. When I queried why he needed these details (if genuine call he should know) he simply hung up

I Couldn’t get approved for any type of loan until I read a comment about a private programmer online on how he helped some people fix their credit score in the space of three days. I gave it a try and reached out to him and to my greatest surprise he came through.
Insurance, claiming to be calling about your life insurance saying they may be able to find you a better deal for your life insurance, asks the basic questions, but wants your account number and sort code to setup a direct debit by the end. Unsure if they are a legit company or not as obviously ended the call before giving details.

Fraud - Fake "debt collecter" type call. Asking to speak to financial department about an overdue debt that is owed (completely false allegation) but had no names or contact details. Well spoken female called back after getting cut off. Said they checked my fuse box ten years ago and wanted to do another free check. Asked me to go to the fuse box. I said it was difficult to reach and it was a consumer unit with circuit breakers. She said in that case no need for a check. Obviously if they'd checked ten years ago they would know what equipment I had. Why I continued to engage with her was we had circuit breakers changed by the makers of the consumer unit as they had found quality issues.
