Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? Claimed to be from National Insurance Bureau and that I had been in an accident and I had ?3-4K to come as compensation. Foreign accent very difficult to understand. Very insistent bordering on unpleasant. Was on Gumtree yesterday posting an ad, sounds likely from other comments that they got my number from there.
Its a trustworthy number as its AO.COM. I bought an appliance recently and they were confirming everything. Unfortunately, the guy was persistent on setting up a domestic and general insurance for £7 a month. Annoying as the appliance comes with 2 years warranty. If I wanted D&G warranty i d go to D&G and get it. Please do not cold call customers pushing for the sale of this its unwanted.

This person was a scouser, who almost insisted who the solicitor was whom I was using, I would not tell him, so he call be a Bell end and rung off.
Indian call centre, very noisy background, said he was calling from Currys and was offering 40% off something but I didn't hold on long enough to find out what.

Swindon Window Centre called my number this morning and they have held my number on a recall system, so that each time I try to ring out, it automatically rings them and charges for each call. Can t delete this, so have to get on to BT.
