Landline from Manchester area - previously I have seen many numbers from this area belonging to some call centres - home and life insurance marketing mostly. I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but as I can see people do search for this number on different similar pages, and there are more similar numbers reported (016181491xx - just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume all the numbers belong to the same call centre. Spam, i answered, they hung up, usual nonsense
Tried calling the number back and states "Number is not in Service" so can only guess call center of some sort using a number that cannot accept incoming calls, hence Negative rating especially as they didn't leave a voice message
The calling actually has stopped after I called the grievance cell. That’s some pretty fast work.

They rang saying they could get me a refund for PPI. I said I wasn t old enough to need anything like that and to remove me from the list, they then demanded to know my DOB, and became rude when I told them it was none of their business and to take me off the list. I hung up in the end and blocked the number.

Was not suspicious as the gentleman was very polite and courteous at all times, however received two further calls today.
