Got 5 miss calls and answered 6th on landline my wife spoke to them after she said no thank you, it was about PPI, they wanted to speak to me and they are stupid morons that doesn’t listen to not interested. Blocked that’s about 10 numbers blocked in 3 days.

Automatised Robot voice (sounds human) asking if I had an accident. AVOID.

Not sure, but seemed to want all my ID details to confirm the refund I was to receive in couple of days, and was vague about who was calling, claimed to be some sort of Financial Authority. Number is Manchester area, and with all due respect to friends in Manchester, apart from Blackburn Lancashire, a call centre dialled call from Manchester rings more alarm bells than phone bells.

No idea who these people are, they called me on my mobile and asked for a man I ve never heard of.. I cut them off immediately afterwards because I didn t want to be charged in case it was an expensive number.

Everyone, get yourself a BT Call Blocker Phone 8600 (with Call Guardian) - its brilliant, you will never be worried with these scammers again - it blocks them for you and your friends and family get through. Honestly cannot recommend enough! Had it 3 weeks and its stopped all this rubbish - FABULOUS!

I have not answered to these people. Not once. Yet, they call at least weekly. I ve got a years line rental with BT paid for up-front, which allows me to block 99% of unwanted calls (with a BT blocker phone purchased separately, in case anyone was wondering). This caller would likely be asking to speak with Mr Strevitt or Mr Gwendoline. As has been the nature of the calls for the past 3 years. This number has rang my mobile 4 times today when I rang it back there was a message saying the number had been disabled due to a fraud investigation. When they rang me again and asked if I worked in industry I said yes i do and don t ring me back you are being investif=gated for fraud to which the reply - "Oh shit"

Called claiming too be HMRC (An automated voice mail) saying there s a fraud case open in my name and if I didn t press 1 too connect my call I would be arrested shortly. Absolute fraud DO NOT PRESS 1!!!
