This number has rung me at 18.03 today 11 Aug saying if I did not want calls to ring a number that obviously could not remember, end of automated call. Guess ANOTHER SCAM
Apologies - this is actually a genuine number - RBS fraud office. Check with your bank to authenticate if you get a call. Some one had accessed my account.
Caller claimed I had a problem with malware on my PC and he would guide me through the repair of it. He asked me to turn on my computer and when I told him no, he got aggressive, told me my PC would screw up and then hung up.
Same as other comments, automated selling banking and associated products.

Fraud. Located in Clithero. Reported to Clithero police but they couldn't be bothered to investigate and told me to contact the fraud squad instead. They could have caught the culprit but weren't interested.

Claims to be a company called UK Talks. Definitely suspicious if not scam or fraudulent. Website does not show numbers which call. The numbers they call from frequently change, the latest being this number. 01997 280702 is also one currently used by them. 01212 840668 used to be theirs but is now discontinued. Man with strong Asian accent rang asking me to confirm who I was, I asked who was asking and how he had got my number. He told me that I had unresolved debts, which I challenged and said I didn t, I asked him where he had got my number from and he mentioned Debt Resolution Services. I told him that I didn t give my number out and I asked him for his company details at which point he hung up

I received a call from this number today (14.04.23) - did not pick up phone but they left a message, that there have been "unusual activites/transcation" on my card (not mentioned which one). They asked to press #1 to cancle these transactions or #2 to speak to a member of their support team. COMPLETE SCAM!

Noone has my mobile number, and it nevers rings but today it did after i did apply for a new PAYG Sim Card for free from what i thought was genuine o2 web page advertising. If they are genuine and it s a courtesy call then fine, otherwise these could be scamartists trying to confirm your details by tricking you into surrending them online thinking its for a free sim card and cloning o2 s advertising website style. Be careful!
Apparently I applied for life insurance, even though what I suffer from life insurance can't cover. Never ACTUALLY even googled life insurance, simply talked to my partner as he's reaching his 50s in a few years. But this guy was persistent and insisted I applied, so I asked the name of his business and he couldn't answer. Google didn't even acknowledge the number. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR DETAILS IF YOU ANSWER BECAUSE IT WONT COME UP AS SPAM CALLER
