01606721310 called my landline today 13/12/22 at 9:10am. Picked up the call and got a pre-recorded message from an American sounding female voice informing me that I had placed an order with AMAZON for gift cards to the value of £700. If I wished to question or check it to dial 1 or 2. This is clearly a SCAM after my banking details as I have not purchased anything from Amazon. I therefore class this call to my landline as DANGEROUS

Fraud - Suggesting they were from BT regarding my broadband. I have been having problems with it but I’m aware of phony callers pretending to be providers - BT not any of the other providers would call you out of the blue so they hung up on me lol - thought you were supposed to be helping me with an issue? This is a suspected nuisance call. On picking up there was a recorded message asking for verification details. I immediately put the phone down. I have had a couple of calls from another Bridgend number in the last few weeks. 01656 723940 seems to belongs to a Mr Steven Walters of Dennis Place, Bryncethin, Bridgend. If so he needs to know it is illegal to call anyone who is TPS registered.
