Police aware of the SCAM need to report these people to the fraid squad on tuesday morning after the bank hoilday. They did the same to me thos morning . I phoned them back and said the police are on to them . Be careful they do try it on .

silent call

SPAM - phoned claiming to be with Association of British Insurers regarding an accident I had then started asking for personal details. After hanging up I was called back 15+ times before blocking the number.

SCAM A guy claiming his name is Sam and working for a company that helps tenants with property damage or something. He didn’t have my name and it was irrelevant to me - clearly a scam.

This company called saying that they were aware ny pension had been frozen. (I left work in May 2015 due to ill health...I'm 38) they had no info about my pension and kept asking me to confirm my details...which they had non of. According to them the Gov had asked such companies to call people who could be subject to costs for freezing their pension, this company could do a free report to see if I was one of those people. BEWARE........ Pretending to be Sky technical, stating fault and slow speed with broadband service, wanted to talk and get access to computer. Tell them to do one save your time and peace of mind.

This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with non-profit orgs, Oxfam (check them at https://www.oxfam.org/ ) and similar.

I received a call from this number this morning asking me to confirm details of my router, telling me that someone else had been using it and trying to hack into it. I told her that there was not a problem. She kept telling me that I needed to give her details of passwords etc so I hung up after telling her several times that I wasn't interested and knew that it was a scam call.
