I'm in West Yorkshire and this is one of the increasing landline robo calls, originating from the south of England, I've been receiving in November 2020. Where it rings, there's no one there if I answer and if it goes to voice message, no message is left. Each time this happens I add the number to my phones blacklist so it's blocked if they try again. BUT this one is unusual because the call came from 01633 856923, but empty message left was from 01003 487792.

This number is a company called Natural Essentials. They flog over-priced vitamins and supplements to vulnerable elderly people. They are really persistent. When they come up against call blockers, they instantly re-dial with alternative numbers. Just recently they are even switching to international numbers in an effort to bypass. SCAM This was almost definitely a scam of some kind. The caller spoke with accented English in a location with a huge amount of background chatter. He claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse offering very low prices on iPhone, Samsung and Huawei mobile phones. I do not think it was actually Carphone warehouse, as I have never provided my details to them and I would expect they had a call centre environment that sounded a bit less like the outside of a busy London pub on a sunny evening.
