As usual, my answering machine takes any call, and automatically dials 0171 to record the caller s number if available. Repeated calls from 0139852762 with no message left. I don t care, I don t have to answer, and it must cost whoever it is!

A female voice claiming to be from Microsoft went through a rigmarole of getting the Event Viewer up. I disconnected from the internet and obeyed. She then tried to tell me that these messages were all about hacker activity on my computer, then asked me to use Run to load Internet Explorer, which I do not have on this computer and I relayed the message "Windows cannot find iexplore". Told me his name was Vitali and he was calling because i had a problem with my router and that i would need to swap to a talk talk one (I m not with talk talk). He tried to get me to do stuff on my computer and told me it was full of errors. Not very happy when I called him out on it. He gave me Virgin Media s sales number when i asked him for his number as i didnt believe him. But 1471 told me he called from this number. Watch out.
