A robocaller from "mastercard" saying £600 from my account was sent to a foreign country and to press 1 to cancel or something. Clearly a scam I never sent that much to any foreign country.
Recorded message, foreign accent. Said my Amazon Prime was due for renewal. Press 1 to be connected to Amazon Prime Admin. If there was a query. Assume an excuse would have been made to get my bank/card details. We do not subscribe to Amazon Prime. Scam, possibly based Indonesia.

Female caller from Albion Assured asking to speak to my husband about the collision he had in his car. Told her he had not had one, her response was "not even in the last two years" I said no and she hung up.
Fraud Didn't answer call, sent to voicemail. Voicemail message left by automated system, male American accent. Stated HMRC court file was about to be submitted to County Court. To stop case call them on stated phone number. Stated number not in UK format.

Called me saying they had information I had been in a car accident. I asked who had informed them and she disregarded my question to ask her own. I then stated that if she couldn t answer the question then we couldn t speak further, so she hung up. I hope she sleeps well at night knowing that her entire platform of employment is based upon being a nuisance.

This number keeps ringing me - my boyfriend answered it once (after many calls i refused to answer) and it was a man asking for another womans name. my boyfriend said he had the wrong number and it was left at that. If this really is HSBC s fraud dept they are staggeringly incompetent and l am by no means convinced that it is. Question of whether there has been fraud on my account remains unsolved - l was unable to give the exact year that l opened my account - approx 40 years ago - and so failed my telephone security check .
