Scammers, said from company Smart Selections about loft insulation. The company was dissolved by comulsory strike off in 2018, when asked for a return phone number they hung up.
So far I ve received two calls from this number within 24hrs after an online enquiry for broadband & phone with EE. I was just "shopping around" for a better deal. Refused to say who he was or what company he was from or why he was calling - just wanted to know my name. Very dodgy.
Predictive dialler ... rang me many times, each time a silent call that lasted about 5 minutes before hanging up. When I FINALLY got a human, they gave me grief/threats about not completing the census. Then they tried to get me to fill out the form over the phone. Since it was an inbound call and I had no way to verify who they were I told then to bugger off... they didn't like that. They're still harassing me so I've blocked them.
