Scam caller calls themselves Insurance Doctors
SCAM Calling and avise there was a problem with our electric meter. Something to do with getting the meter point reference mixed up. Wanting to confirm our meter point reference number. This call sounded dodgy. The caller was not from our Electric Supplier.
Fraud Said criminal action was being taken against me for tax evasion and fraud. A warrant was out for my arrest ????. I'm an NHS nurse not a dodgy investment banker.

A link to a web site was left on the txt www.redelivery-nextday-gb.com I clicked on the link and a red screen came up with Deceptive Website Warning and this site may try to trick you into doing something dangerous like installing soft ware or disclosing personal or financial information like passwords, phone numbers or credit cards. SCAM: Local exchange number with clearly foreign caller. I asked what the scam was and he said 'it's a scam about your computer' and then hung up.
Scammers pretending to be HMRC, saying arrest warrant issued, phone number disconnected, bank accounts blocked, driving licence & passport cancelled, police on their way to home address (which the scammers don’t know). Do not provide any truthful info - lie as tho your life depends on it (your finances are under threat) as they will try to get you to agree to paying £987.26 (over £1000 gets bank fraud dept involved).
