At the end of the end ,whether you are a British Gas customer or not , if you have not given British Gas your permission to call you , then it is a harrassment call. The other thing to bear in mind is , unless you make the call , how do you really know who it is who has called you? I am a British Gas customer , but as far as I am aware have never given them my telephone number , so beware !!

SCAM - Received a call from their number. Computer female voice telling me my MasterCard had been used to make a payment to a foreign country for £600. That's when I hung up. First I got a call on my Mobile from a number showing as New York - didn t answer. Then I got a call a coupel of minutes later from 07418342582, ostensibly a UK Mobile. Answered and got a recorded message in Arabic (or Greek, or similar). I hung up. A few minutes later a text with a Telegram code number, asking me to click a link. Obviously I didn t as I know nothing about this. Beware!
