01794399253 called my landline on Thursday 13 July and a recorded message advised me that money had been transferred from my account and to key 1 to sort it. 01794 is a Romsey UK number as is my number so I assumed it was local. I did not continue with the call. It was the same as other messages that I have received recently mentioned Amazon. How do scammers phone from local numbers?
Rang.. hung up when I answered. I called them back and was put in a queue system to speak to an operator. I have better things to do than speak to some mindless call-centre drone so I hung up. added to reject list.
