This was an unsolicited call which I let go to ansafone the message started automatically - It appears to be a scam call (not mentioning your name, but saying HMRC has taken out a lawsuit under your name & an arrest warrant has been issued under your name & urging you to press 1 to speak to your case officer ( a case number KN01297 is quoted & you are urged to press 1 to speak to the case officer) - Typical of the types of scams used against older people

Received a call from this number and listening to the message can understand why people fall for this. The message advises that HMRC wish to speak with you and it may be in your interest to appoint a Solicitor. Then asks that you call back. I called back and an Asian male answered with "This is Her Majesties Revenue Control, how can I help you" I hung up. Fraudsters! They lie and dissemble to fool you into believing that you are renewing your current cover, while you are doing no such thing. They have a nice website, but never answer the phone or email, so certainly can t provide any service for their appliances. One of them will likely write a comment below, pretending to be a customer, claiming how what I write is not true. You who work for them, have you no shame, no conscience?

Similar to other comments - trying to sell better telephone package, to (supposedly) reduce our business cost. They asked for an E-mail address, but I explained that we have not used that for 10-12 years - as we have converted to the much more professional "W-mail" system, which avoids spams and scams. They then immediately ended the call !

Answered the first 2 calls from this number to hear an Asian sounding voice - in the first instance telling me I had a Windows problem and the second time telling me I had a BT line problem. As I was aware of this scam, in both instances I told them to "get lost" and hung up. Since then they have been ringing me several times a day but since I have caller identity I ignore it. This is plain harassment.

Account hacked. stayed on the line to get a recorded American voice thanking me and putting me through. 2nd time today on different numbers. last time I suggested they should cut me off as threatened - surprise - I'm still connected.

These people are a complete pain. Don't respond to their calls. 50 calls in a month even after telling them politely and less politely to go away. They are parasites . Is there a rating less than negative? . Might be worth just press receive and leave them hanging on. Then it might just clog up their calls.
