Hang up immediately and don t call back under any circumstance

Continuous calls from this number saying they do all of BT Renewals! I have an online account with BT and direct access to BT, and any changes or renewals to my accounts are dealt with direct, so why are they bothering me? I have told them to stop or I will make a formal complaint.

Anonymous in previous post :- IF these calls are originating from overseas, there is nothing the UK can do about them, and nothing the originating country will be bothered about...

probable scam call asking for my national insurance number and email address

Called claiming to be Scottish Power. I stupidly went through the security questions (address and DOB) as I am in process of leaving Scottish Power. He then said I had a balance to pay on the account and would I like to pay by card. I had suspicions though and said I would do it online - he asked why, at which point I was really suspicious and called up Scottish Power who didn t know the number, and said my account was in credit. Received a text from this number with a link to a bogus paypay verification website to unlock my account only days after an attempted phising / fraud / potential theft exercise after using Gumtree. Links to Nigeria. Reported to Paypay.

Same happened to me. Rung at 10:20 . A distorted noise and then hung up.

Amazon scammers

This number calls every so often asking for Mark and also sends texts offering a free laptop. I tried telling them they had the wrong number before I found out it was a marketing ploy. Just tell them to f**k off now!
