SCAM CALL. Claimed to be from sky. Knew I had Sky package said I had technical issues. English not their first language. As a test I said no I don’t have technical issues, I don’t even have Sky! A guy with a strong eastern accent, called Jason, phoned me claiming to be from BT, claiming that my Internet address had become visible to everyone and that people would try to scam me. He wanted me to open Google but I said I couldn't. It felt like a scam of some sort.

Call was a recorded message saying that I had 2 transactions off £750 off my Credit card this morning if this was not you press 1. I didn't do it but I did check with my accounts and it appears to be a scam. As they didnt say which Credit company either. Plus surely they wouldn't use a mobile phone either. They would use land line to ring from. Plus an email or text.

SCAM - when I answered the number, it quickly turned to music as if waiting in a queue (similar to waiting to talk to your drs). So I rang it back and it said “sorry this number doesn’t exist”! I had been called by 0161 818 4494 and by 0161 818 4493 it was same for both they do not exist. So I took the last number off changing it to 0161 818 449 when I rang it said the same, it doesn’t exist! I think this is a number used by a company who cold call trying to sell you something, that’s my thought on this.
