CHECKING MY BANK STATEMENT I FOUND A DEBIT OF ?99.99 FROM A FREE TIME CD. I RANG THE BANK WHO WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS FROM A PURCHASE I HAD MADE ABOUT A MONTH EARLIER. DO NOT ANSWER - Scam call from an Asian call centre, openly admitting to charging a premium rate for connecting your call. They begin the conversation stating they are a government scheme aimed at helping pay back loans etc. I received racial abuse from the caller while trying to get information out of him. Have checked all phone records to see if any charges have come through but none as yet, but am unaware if the included minutes have covered this somehow. BLOCK & REPORT.

This number called me. There was a bit of noise in the background, i said hello twice and then a male voice of what i would guess is south Asian descent said "do you love me?". I replied "What?" assuming i'd mis heard and he just repeated the same question so i hung up.

This is 100% a genuine call from Marks and Spencer’s Credit Services. I called them independently on their website contact number and they were trying to contact me with an account related query. The annoying thing is when I had tried to answer the number on the first ring the call germinated. However, it is not a scam number.
