Fraud This number was given to a very vulnerable elderly friend of mine for her to confirm a transaction on her debit card. Fortunately her bank did not sanction the transaction. The number is for a hotel in Vietnam!

Called me twice this morning on my mobile. No message left. If I don't know the number I don't answer, if they are human and want me they will leave a message, if not it's a machine checking to see if I'll answer so they know they have a valid number. Whatever they were trying to sell me hasn't worked and I'm happy about that at least. Number blocked.
This number called and is an automated service saying it's from the FCA about some transactions on my bank account. Press 1 to go through to an advisor to discuss. I just hung up.

Claimed he is Saudi Hajj ministry representative and wants to refund some money which will come in 45 working days. He was trying to convince me it is against the complaint I made. This number was on an email purportedly from. Ebay...saying call if you think the information was incorrect. The info was wildly incorrect. Assuming this is some form of phishing phone scam as phone number does not appear on eBay website or registered to them publicly.

Missed call No message or text. Called back, message said "state your name and say 6". I said "Sydney James Six" a couple of times but nothing happened. Why would I tell someone my real name so they could associate it with my phone number? Sounds very suspicious
This number has called me several times in the past few days & 3 times today alone. I do not answer unsolicited calls & NEVER give ANY personal information over the phone, not to even confirm my name. I suspect this is an automated dialer & more than likely a scam. I am going to block this number. Job done.

As of writing, 3 different numbers tried to call me today (020 8956 2943, 020 8956 2230 and 020 8956 2601). They all start with 020, I don’t know anyone who owns those numbers, maybe the same individual is using different numbers to call me. Likely a fraud and now it’s harassing.
