This company are based in Brighton and are trying to get you to make charitable donations to various charities.... As I already donate to a charity of my choice I do not wish to be bothered by these types of calls. I m also signed up with TPS so shouldn t get them anyway... I found their direct number which is 01273 698697 and asked them to remove both my numbers from their database... Lets see what happens...

Like all the other comments, this was a recorded message claiming to be from Inland Revenue (I should have smelled a rat immediately at that point - it s HMRC now...) and that I was being sued. Brain not in gear, and in panic, dialled 1, but silence at the other end, then call terminated. I am now so angry. These people have called my home several times a day while I have been out at work and keep on calling through the evening. The one time I was home and answered they hung up.

Silent call

Phoned at 13.20 29 April purporting to be from Halifax Fraud department stating there had been suspect activity on my account and requesting various card details in order to cancel the transactions. I called the Halifax Fraud number and cancelled my card.

Recorded message claiming to be HMRC stating that it was taking me to court, and to press option 1 to speak to my case officer. Ridiculous scam, presumably trying to get my name, address and NI number. No government department would ever contact anyone in this way, and certainly never leave a message that inflammatory.

CALLED WRONG ANSWERED NO RESPONSE

Not sure why they would be ringing me as I'm in my 40s?
