Scam number impersonating virgin money. I received a text which appeared to be from virgin money “this is your one time passcode to debit your account (amount) to pay (company). If this was NOT you call us on 03309124638” I called Virgin money directly using their actual number from the back of my bank card to report it, it’s definitely a scam.

Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. Received the following text from this number: HALIFAX ALERT: A payment was attempted from a NEW device on 30/10 at 11:58. If this was NOT you please visit: https://halifax-payeeverify.com I checked my on line accounts all were fine. I called the number, instead of using the hyperlink has I was suspicious, and was put through to the EE voicemail service. Make of it what you will.....

I checked with Virgin after readin Peters comments and they told me it was not a premium rate call .. it was a local rate .. I had a county court bailiff attend my premises and this telephone number was also on the paperwork I was given !! :(

SCAM / SPAM - believe it is the same company that keeps calling me about signing up or expressing interest in financial trading. They have my name as well. Never signed up for anything and no idea how they've managed to get my details including my name. Number keeps changing - sometimes mobile or sometimes a landline that calls.
