I have had over 20 calls from this number. Today, I asked to speak to a supervisor as I have asked them 13 times to stop calling me. Supervisor talked over me then hung up. They say I am due £1650 back in ppi on a loan taken out in 2005 with RBS. Told them I have never had a loan with them. They then told me Bank of Scotland and RBS were the same bank. Received a text message pretending to be from WhatsApp. Apparently my number was going to be transferred in 24 hours. They gave me the option to call a Premium Rate phone number to query it. The number given was 0902 394 1410. I checked Who-Called.co.uk for info and found lots of people were being scammed with very similar numbers. DO NOT RING THIS NUMBER! If you dial it you will be charged a ridiculously high rate. One person had a charge of £5.50 added to their account for only a 15 second call... THIS IS

SCAM Ignored call. It went to voicemail and an automated voice left a message saying that there had been some suspicious activity on my Amazon account to the amount of £1,400+ and that my account would be locked and I should press 1 or 2 to sort this out. Obviously I didn't. I've checked my account due to receiving the same message from a mobile number a couple of days before and it's fine.

This was actually just an automated BT text-to-landline service telling me the time slot for my Costco parcel delivery that I was expecting, so this was completely legit for me. It will try ringing you several times until you listen to the text message so just listen and it will stop. However, as it's a generic BT service it is open to abuse but I would advise against blocking it because the message delivery service itself is not a scam, just be aware though that the message you receive could be bogus.
