Claimed to be calling from 'MES' about life insurance. Smelled like a scam right from the off, so it mostly like is. Probably just best to hang up and ignore them. If it's important and a genuine issue they'll just write to you.

Had 3 calls over the last few days from various numbers all starting with the same dalling code, 01926. Received a phone call from this number this morning at 10.39am. When I lifted the receiver there was some garbled noise then a single tone and the number rang off. Hard to say whether or not this is a 'dangerous' number but need to be careful. Not good when no-one speaks.

Broad Indian accent, difficult to understand but the general gist I got was he wanted my details so he can save me 30-40% off my bill. Had to press for details on what bill he was saving me money on, he stammered and, almost like he was guessing, said my O2 mobile phone bill. Nobody in this house has any O2 devices so be safe - don't give these scumbags any details. Block the number, maybe work out some of your anger by screaming abuse at them as I did.

SCAM Robocall left partial message on my answerphone saying their fraud department had noticed a suspicious charge for £800 on my Visa card for online gambling in America. They had put the transaction on hold and if I wanted to reject the charge to press 1 and speak to their fraud department. Clearly a scam as I have no Visa cards.
