SCAM / SPAM This was an automated message stating that I had an outstanding tax case against me and I should press 1 now to be put through to an advisor. If I didn't press 1, then the case would be forwarded to the authorities and I would be arrested shortly. I did nothing and the call just died, and so far have not been arrested. This is a very dangerous scam that is threatening and could scare some vulnerable people, into doing something.

Still not sure who called, rang it back as expecting contact with Brentford County Court, the call was answered by answer machine that said "Trying to connect you" then some music and then the line went silent so I cut the call when that happened and still no answer. Old scam. Claim to be from BT Openreach saying there is a problem with broadband causing damage to devices but they can fix it for you. Just a scam to get info, passwords or even put spyware onto your device. Just hang up on them and warn others that this scam is going around again.

Recorded call that states there is urgent news about your pension bonus-how stupid do they think we are! I have had a number of these calls over the last couple of weeks. Dialing 1471 gives this number 0161 752 0020. I have not contacted this number nor will I, this is quite obviusly a scam of some sort.
