Call this morning saying that my Amazon account had been compromised and that money had been taken. I class this as a scam

Fraud claimed to be from my insurance company asking for details like NI number - what password i would like - DOB ect - scam company claiming to be accident after care

Automated call on 17th June 2022 saying from Scottish Gas. Can't remember what else it said but it said to Press 1. The minute I heard that I put the phone down. I am not with Scottish Gas anyway so presumed this is a scam call.

Didn't answer call due to the number. No introduction just talking in the background as they did not know it had gone to answerphone. Not a European language being spoken but talked about 11 thousand and laughing. Possibly Indian. SPAM

Rang 1008, today, Thursday 04/08/22. A/phone kicked in - message reference large payments to Amazon, press buttons to resolve. Rang off. A bit frightening, as is my local area number.

Message arrived over WhatsApp - I guess it's now the platform of choice for scammers, as bulk SMS costs money? Suspicious "hi, hope you are doing well" received, and nothing else. I'd suggest do not reply, not even to ask "who is this?", as it's likely a scam. If it was somebody I knew, I'd expect them to use my name and/or identify themselves if they can see we haven't communicated before.

Lloyd bank saying I had strange transaction from. My account this was the second call I had about transactions from my account but a different phone number today

"Bank of Scotland" left concurrently 2 text messages and a voicemail, & phoned from 0333 045 9640. 1st text said "You will shortly receive a text from Bank of Scotland Card Services to confirm recent activity on your card ending xxxx" (the actual numbers on my card). 2nd text said fraudulent purchase of £349 from Apple had been blocked. This was the number that called me back after responding to a search on Google for an emergency plumber. The booking for a call out was £50 to start with and then there would be charge for the work done. By the time the plumber arrived a friend had resolved the problem and he was not needed. He still insisted on doing something and then charged £220! When we challenged they reduced it to £150. I advised that this was a total rip off! Do not use 24/7 Emergency Services!
