SPAM Have been called several times by this number now. Every time it's the same bloke asking if I'm the homeowner and saying I've obviously taken advantage of the govt offer of lift insulation, about 10years ago. Despite me telling him (every time) that I don't HAVE a loft I still get these spam calls. If I try to get a word in sideways I get cut off. It's becoming harassment now.

Got called today by a female with a Scouse voice stating that she was form "Fresh Contacts" and asking if I am been in an accident. Funnily enough (and the truth, but may use this excuse even so if it changes for me) I don t drive, so I told her this and then she proceeded to ask if I had been a passenger in an accident or if I had been on public transport. None of this was true, these are scam calls, she mentioned that my details were on the "National Accident Database", which may I add- does not exist. Bl

I have been getting nuisance calls from The Money Group for about a year now, it is getting to the point of harrassment. The calls are normally from 01423 which I believe is in Harrogate. However, I have now started to get them from 01989 numbers in Ross on Wye. No matter how much I ignore the numbers I get about 6 or 7 calls per day. Said was from TPS. Sounded like calling from India but said he was in Maidenhead (couldn t pronounce it...). Sounded dodgy, asking me if I was "still receiving nuisance calls and that he could block them" - and he eventually gave up the call.
Fraud - claimed to be VirginMedia. Claimed "illegal activity on line". threatened to cut off line. refused to confirm account details. became abusive when challenged.

Exactly the same as above, Asian voice, said he was BT and following up a broadband fault and when I told him I did not have any problems he terminated the call.

A man called me from this number saying he was from santander asking me to verify my bank security questions,I told him to put any questions in writing to me as I wasn t going to tell anyone these details,he then preceded to ask me for them again! And reckoned he couldn t tell me what it was about until I could give him these details,are they really so stupid to think they d get anything?! and no the bank knew nothing about it when I checked.
