Answered call and could hear call centre noises in background but no-one spoke. Eventually call was ended. no idea who it was as search on number does not bring up any results

Had a call at 1221 today, 12 Jan 17 but caller left no message, so obviously a scam/spoof/marketing call. Tried ringing the number back but got a Sky Voicemail Service. Tried calling the number again at 1530 this afternoon, only to have an automated message saying the Voicemailbox was full & could not take any more messages. I have had about a call a day from these people. Have now managed to put them onto caller barred on my phone. I told them I was on TPS, but they told me as they were not selling me anything that didn t matter. This is now getting towards being harassment.7y327

Persistence caller, rings around 4 times a day at different times, even though my answer machine takes most of the calls they keep calling. Today I answered it & they are asking for the person that used to have my number over 22 years ago so I know that they are working from old telephone books etc. Just told them that they had the wrong number so hopefully that will stop now! Called a TPS registered line, asking for a named individual, and identifying themselves as "Jess from BT", and asking to talk about "Your broadband line". This is despite our Internet services not being provided by BT, and the named person that "Jess" was asking for having nothing to do with the provision of our broadband. If she really was from BT (which I very much doubt that she was) then it would be one good reason not to touch them with several barge-poles strapped together.
