HYC Manchester. I was a little bored so gave them a fictitious name, a real address, loads of BS about Credit Cards I got; even telling him I d had refunds and my 8% interest too, but he insisted I was still entitled to more. Told me it was no win, no fee but if they did get anything then they got 30% plus VAT; that s 1/3 of the claim. So he took all my details and then passed me through to a colleague who then went through all the same questions again to confirm the details and that I was to sign the forms

This no, phones me every day, god only knows what their trying to achieve, but I gave him maximum abuse, told him, he,s been registered as a scammer, told him he,s in Manchester, and he was just as cocky as fuck, he even said we are both in the same boat, and I replied, but he,s trying to sell something, and getting knowhere. Being a resident of Wigan Borough I answered this Wigan number (01942) in case it was something important. Caller identified themselves as Insurance Review, saying I needed to review my Life Insurance, they mentioned the panel of insurers they work on behalf of and said they give impartial advice . I can t say whether they are legitimate or not, but seems like they re just a 3rd party sales/referral channel for these insurers. Probably nothing more than an irritation, but I would avoid giving details

Said I would be able to claim up to ?8000 from misselling of mortgages and credit cards. Were very nice at start of conversation which turned nasty when I refused to give ?1100 up front fee. Just a scam!
