Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the accident but hadn t claimed anything. SCAM, claimed to be from virgin, claimed i had unauthorized IP ADDRESSES ON MY ROUTER,AS THEY HAD NOT GONE THROUGH "SECURITY" I ASKED THEM TO CONFIRM MY ACCOUNT NUMBER AND THEY HUNG UP, I HAD ABOUT 8 CALLS THIS MONTH FROM DIFFERENT NUMBERS & ALL HAD THE SAME ACCENT, AN INDIAN ASIAN ACCENT, THOSE THAT HUNG AROUND TO TALK HUNG UP WHEN QUESTIONED.

This number has been phoning several times a day for the last week or so but never leaves an answer phone message so I assume it is another nuisance call.
First call. I can t find them on companies house. Was a survey about a recent RTA then they can close my claim down. He was adiment it wasn t a nuisance call. I asked him who my insurer was. He couldn t answer funny how he was calling on behalf of them. Terminated the call and is now on my block list.

You get robocalls until you pick up from one Bournemouth number, then the next day you get your "local" energy adviser calling you - just got rid at that point so unsure whether a scam, but certainly unsolicited, and since my number is in the TPS database for not getting unsolicited calls, you can bet your life it's a dodgy company not bothered about following the law or regulations.
