I am pretty sure this number is a scam number trying to make contact over an apparent bank transaction. It is bogus. I would block this number.

SCAM automated voice supposedly from "my card" saying there were 2 suspicious transactions. Press 1 to cancel or 2 to speak to support.

Had a card through the door saying they are from Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire County Court Bailiff Team - called the 01582 506 714 number and it just rings out. At the bottom of the card it says Albany Print and Design, HMP Isle of Wight....pretty certain this is fake!!!

Phoned me and played a computer recodred message which claimed to be from my card provider, without telling me who they were. Told me that there had been suspicious transactions on my account and tried to get me to speak to them. I hung up and checked with my bank who told me that nothing of the sort could have happened. Fraudulent telephone call. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!

Telephone call from 07979 752324 at 10:23 on Thursday 23 March. Female caller requested one minute to ask personal questions. Replied "no", however female caller carried on speaking. Did not answer any questions. Believe caller fishing for personal information in order to start some type of fraud. Female caller then terminated call, so number then blocked immediately.

Ebay scam: you've allegedly purchased an expensive item which will be sent to a Manchester address. This number is the "ebay " assistance in case of problems etc.

The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. SCAM- 0128 240981 I've been bombarded by calls from similar 0128 numbers for past couple weeks. I finally answered this one today (28th October) and it was a lady with an oversees accent with echoey background noise saying she was from the National Debtline. She knew my name and kept asking me to confirm it but I didn't and I kept asking who she was then hung up when she said she was from the debtline. They don't cold call you and it's a totally different number so I blocked it.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from O2 offering a 50% discount. Wanted me to read a one time code. I checked and I did have a text from O2 but the code said it was to retrieve my account and that O2 would not ask for the number. I told the guy this and he insisted that it was a promotional code and the warning meant I shouldn't tell anyone else about the number. Looked up the number and it wasn't connecte with O2. I demanded proof from the guy that he was from O2 and he got upset at me. SCAM!
