Completely unnerved, I said that Action Fraud would be delighted to hear about it and then I rang off without giving any of my details. This has got me really, really worried. Very annoying when callers cannot be bothered to leave a message on answerphone, makes me think they are spammers.
This number is used by scammers. My experience is that they advised me that my PayPal account had been used suspiciously, and invited me to call this number and get the supposed transaction cleared. What made this so dangerous, was the fact that they used the Paypal site giving this number to contact to resolve the problem. Very cute, they nearly caught me, but they asked too many questions about bank accounts, which set the alarm bells ringing. Asked why, the call was terminated.
The pains of being ripped off by these heartless scammers who pose as binary investment company , mine started with a female investor who I became close friends with in a few months after we started chatting , she was nice and the sweetest person to talk to , she talked me into investing she sweet talked me into trusting her and the said company and investing a wholesome amount into this company .By the time It dawned on me that all this was a trick and a scheme to get in my pocket I already lost over $500
