Claimed to be from National Insurance Bureau and that I had been in an accident and I had ?3-4K to come as compensation. Foreign accent very difficult to understand. Very insistent bordering on unpleasant. Was on Gumtree yesterday posting an ad, sounds likely from other comments that they got my number from there.

Its a trustworthy number as its AO.COM. I bought an appliance recently and they were confirming everything. Unfortunately, the guy was persistent on setting up a domestic and general insurance for £7 a month. Annoying as the appliance comes with 2 years warranty. If I wanted D&G warranty i d go to D&G and get it. Please do not cold call customers pushing for the sale of this its unwanted.

I was called by a stroppy Welsh woman who wouldn t shut up when I asked her where she got my number from. She came out with some rubbish about me being on a government data base that said I had a credit card - what bloody business it of hers? These people truly are the scum of the earth. cwhat is th e point of me registering with TPS if I keep getting calls from brain dead morons reading from a script. Oh well the last two words she heard from me began with F and O. She was so aggressive!!

Was asked about car accident I was supposed to have had. Led them on for a little while but they hung up when I asked them what my name was as they didn't know !
"Virginmedia support department" - about the sixth time they have called since Christmas plus one from Talk-Talk. Told me I had a problem with my router. Complete scammers. I wasted 20 minutes of their time by displaying ignorance of computing and miskeying input. When asked, the first person I spoke to gave his address as 81 Newgate Street London, which is a BT building. I was then passed onto a "supervisor" who gave his address as 179 Harrow road. He then explained that the first person forgot he was no
fedup of unknown numbers calling my private phone can nothing be done about it.
A foreign guy called said he was with a credit fraud company, a lot of background noise, obviously a scam call. I hung up and blocked the number.

Had a call from this number, the caller claimed to be from EMS. Promoting mobile websites. Very aggressive person and he slammed the phone down when I asked him to put the details on email.
I m ashamed to say that I worked for Ben Reynolds for a short time back in 2012 when his company was called Crown Lawyers. Same story as these, he d get us to find people with debts, take a fee from them and then cut off all contact with them. Supposedly we d get a commission for every job taken on, but he d tell us that the person had decided not to go ahead with recovering their debt and so we got nothing. We then found out that they had agreed to pursue the debt and Ben just wanted to avoid paying us
