I called the number which then gave an automated message and a contact number to call, 01582267124. I was put through to a customer service rep and asked politely to be removed from their database. He added my number and fingers crossed I won't be bothered again, although I've blocked their number anyway.

PPI Lead Gen (trading Name) based in Yorkshire. Someone needs to find out the limited company name so we can all sue them on moneyclaim.gov.uk for loss of work time. They do not honour the remove from list option when they call. If they dont stop calling people when they request not to I will make it my day job to find them and endure they pay dearly. FrI was caught out by this today. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. They applied just enough pressure when the texts to change my account detail came in that I didn't have time to read them properly. Thankfully, I read them after the call and got straight on to O2 to change
