Caller claiming to be from Currys PC World. Has a similar call from a Manchester number two days ago. Accent suggests a scam call operation

Said they were from BT and were going to cancel Broadband, installed anywhere desktop access software and installed Trojan Gen 5 to gain access to a bank account. Thankfully the bank saw it as a large amount and blocked the transaction

Called me randomly at 20:43pm. Sou ded like a young boy, screamed something unintelligible down the phone at me and then hung up. When I called back, the line was "busy". Annoying ????

This is a scam number pretending to be Amazon UK. They pretended that i had mistakenly signed up for 'their' yearly subscription and stated i they were due to take 79.99 out of my account today if i did not cancel immediately. They stated that they could sort this out online and that I may be due a refund. I asked them to call back and contacted Amazon service desk who explained that they had never called me and that i was still subscribed on monthly terms. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR DETAILS.

Got a call from this number and when i answered it the phone went dead , looks like on these scam sites who use a computer to call numbers and if you answer they keep a record and then later on call you to sell you insurance etc.

Multiple calls from this number on a weekly basis,claiming transactions have been made from my bank.Absolute scam!!!!!

A call from this number (unaswered) was received late at night by a phone that has been hacked two weeks ago and the service provider seems not to have been able to put the account out of reach of the criminal, despite a great deal of correspondence with them. Someone called introducing himself as Peter Jones from Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd . they are impersonating a business and personal name by using this landline number to sell a personal loan and trying to get money from people. I checked Finance and Investment solutions Ltd by FCA, and I have been told that Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd is a legitimate company offering only mortgages and its telephone number is totally different from this phone

Fraud A friend of mine had money disappearing from her bank account, she's Burmese and her English isn't so good so I looked into it for her. Turns out it's a company called Florist-world.com that took 2 euro from her account then took 24 euro every 2 weeks. I finally found emails from them in her spam folder, they'd somehow managed to get hold of her debit card number and were taking 24 Euro every 2 weeks, the last email said that amount was increasing to 44 Euro.
