TAXES / HMRC Evasion. If you receive a phone call either on landline or mobile from a supposedly 'HMRC', what ever happens, what ever you do, do not press any keys on your keypad as per instructions. This will lead to monies being taken from your account because you've allowed it to happen. Remember that if HMRC wish to contact you at all for what ever reason, they will do it by post and not on the phone. The same applies with banks. Please, people, don't do it.

I got this call in response to a request i made for a large transfer of money They were confirming in order to be able to release the funds
I've just kept one of their team talking for 12 minutes, saving others from being called by this scam! They claim to be "Road Traffic Management" and that they can get you additional compensation for a RTA you've had. They also claim to have got your details from the MIB (Motor Insurance Database), but when pushed they claim that all they were given was your phone number and the fact that your vehicle had been in an accident in the last five years that wasn't your fault. SCAM Claiming to be from the electric company (did not state which one). When I asked him to remove my number from his system he replied "you are talking shit sir" My advice is to waste their time the way the waste yours.

Keeps leaving a voicemail after the call. Voicemail cites the number that called and advises not to disregard the message as the matter at hand is time sensitive.

Called by tracy several times asked how I was, am I okay then said was I aware of the scrap-age scheme and then hung up. the number was 0161 476 8200 but unable to ring it back!
Scam. They insisted I had asked for help with services and sent me an email to prove it. Email is blank apart from the only thing there - a button that says "Previous messages". I had no dealings with the caller previously and I know I haven't sent any emails. So it is clear that link goes to and does something fishy!!!
