Just had a call from 01430860504. Automated message supposedly from my bank. Said there was 2 transactions on my account. £250 to Amazon and £1300 to a money transfer company. I have one of these calls every month. SCAMMERS.

This phone number is from a fraud caller claiming to be FRANK GALLO SOLICITORS. They continued to explain how I have debt that is from companies who miss-sold credit. It was very convincing, and I didn't have any immediate concerns. They had details of a previous debt I owed and then reeled off some "bogus" loads I have never had. They were trying to get me compensation and find details about all other creditors. The website was only registered two days before the call so and I performed

Received 4 calls on my cell in Benelux within 2 minutes; this is part of a practise that started on 13/2: since then I received about 60 odd calls from similar +44 numbers. The first one or 2 I picked up and people claim I registered with credit card for online consultancy, related to financial investments. After that I categorically block all these calls. I can produce a list of these numbers

Calls using various Manchester-area phone numbers usually starting 0161 531 ****. WARNING IT'S A DANGEROUS SCAM PRETENDING TO BE A GOVERNMENT SCHEME! If you don't recognize the number DON'T SPEAK, JUST LISTEN! and then if the line goes dead, congratulations, you've just escaped being scammed!

These people tried to talk me to giving money because I didn't give my DNA when they sent me a letter - um first off I didn't get any letters and second I'm pretty sure cops don't tell you that you have a warrant on the phone and can "take care of it" if you give them an iTunes card!!! This was a recorded message from a number purporting to be a bank (which bank not specified) and telling me that 2 dodgy transactions had just been recorded. One payment to Amazon, and one international payment via an unspecified website. Obviously crap, but a potential cause of anxiety nonetheless.

A local number but automatic voice saying to be from the bank saying there had been charges against my account SCAM. Must be piggy backing on a local number somehow

Purporting to be from bank fraud team ( recorded message) re unusual activity on my bank card. Press one for more info etc. I put phone down.

SCAM Told me it was the royal mail and they wanted to send me an invoice for £1.55 for a packet with no postage. I asked how they got my number and they said the delivery office gave it to them. The supposed packet was in London and I am in Somerset. I called her bluff and said the delivery office did not have my number and she then hung up. They did not have an English accent.

SCAM told me his name was John Williams and phoning from Microsoft, asked him if he had written any more good tunes lately and told him where to go
