There seem to be many unknown callers. They tend to stop after six rings, so we simply let them stop without picking up. Annoying, all the same.

Its not just AO I just received a call from a young woman claiming to be from boots appliances, in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact her sole purpose was to sell insurance cover! She repeated every detail of my delivery, which I already know, told me they can remove my old appliance, which I already know etc etc etc then asked me why my old appliance was broken! All leading to the insurance pitch! These are badly scripted insurance sales calls! I am very disappointed that boots

I ve been called daily by this number but I have a call blocker on my android phone called "Truecaller" (I am not a salesman) which filtered it straight away. It does have apps but is very effective for nuisance callers. Hope this helps.

Trying to sell house insurance - very persistent, and asking too many personal questions ie bank details.

Cold call advising me of an accident - I think they are randomly calling numbers using a Dialler system (Pause, Click then speak)I advised them that I did not have an Accident and asked how they got my mobile number - they hung-up. Chap with Asian accent called saying he was from Consumer Service Dept. He asked for the person who had the number before me. He said he wanted my opinion on a few questions but teally was trying to find out what products i had.Then I told him to piss off.He then called back from a different number and said I would be bombarded with calls.So watch out for 02085 252839
