Text message received - Saying from Royal Mail - "James" tried to deliver a parcel to me on 24/12. This message was received on my work phone, which is not linked to any of my personal online purchases. SCAM!
Another damn nuisance call. Some recorded woman's voice trying to convince me there are two fraudulent transactions on my bank account, press number one to get details etc. As it happened, I'd just been checking my bank account online, but I wouldn't have believed her anyway, as that's not the way my bank would contact me. This pathetic scam originated from a number in Knighton, a small town in Powys about ten miles from my house. Whoever you are, try and get a life!

Automated phone call scam which will tell you HMRC is filing a lawsuit against you, and to press 1 to speak to a caseworker to make a payment. Don't pick up or end up the call immediately.

Rip off. Wanted to contact my credit card company so searched for number on line. Clicked a link through and ended up being charged over £9. Cross with myself for being lured into this.
SCAM This caller has dialled my mobile telephone several times but never leaves an ID or message. Last call was a message of a drunk attacking an electronic guitar. Caller has a low forehead, low social skills, drags knuckles on the floor, exists on fruit and likely defecates on its floor. A stranger to soap and likely communicates with grunts.
Different numbers with messages saying they have a parcel and it's their 2nd, 3rd etc attempt to contact me about this delivery. Tempted to click the link, but cautious as no deliveries expected.

I'm guessing spam - didn't let them get far to find out as I kept quizzing them about who they were and never confirming who they are supposed to be talking to. Said they were from a company called something like brnza (couldn't quite understand the accent) saying they want to email me something on behalf of Dell and they read out an email address they wanted me to confirm (which of course I wouldn't). I basically said this call is unauthorised, I refuse you to email me anything and do not call me again.

Just had a "Bank security call" from this number saying 2 unauthorised transactions had gone through and to press 1. No bank name mentioned and according to Google this number is Thomas Sherriff And Co Agricultural Machinery manufacturers. Unbelievable.
Randomly called said she was from sky and said our internet is slow. Tried to get us to download and app called quick support. This app allows people to remotely access your phone. Very dangerous as the can get so many details this way. We questioned her and she hung up. Called back and metro express answered, Im guessing this number is used for numerous amounts of scams. Called me twice. Today I checked the number. The pitch: calling from my mobile provider to offer a 30% discount off my bill, then they want to know how much you pay for your bill. If you say sure - they will try and set this up on the phone, or direct you to your provider website. like this is an option, I chose my provider's website, they hung up. Today's call it was the 30% discount again - and hung up.

Indian woman called Jessie from Housing Disrepair Association. Told me I'd been reported as having damp in the home. Asked her what country she was calling from and what location which she wouldn't answer, she then wanted to know if I was a private or social tennant. Told her I knew she was a scammer, at which point she hung up.

Complete nonsense of course and an attempted scam. He said he was calling from London but the area code is Falkirk (Scotland).
